Metpow is software first, built around the way leisure sites actually work. Hardware such as Rolec units is Metpow-compatible, so you can often modernise without replacing your whole electrical network.
Metpow uses LoRaWAN connectivity, so coverage across large outdoor sites does not depend on guest WiFi or mobile signal.
Metpow was set up by people with technical expertise and real experience of outdoor leisure sites. They saw how manual metering created workload, disputes and confusion for operators and guests.
Metpow also points to the rise of EV charging on campsites and caravan parks as a reason to know exactly which pitches are using the most power.
Metpow fits alongside Holidaymaker and your park management system. Guests can see their energy use and cost, and QR scanning now works in the Holidaymaker app, so power sits in the same place as the rest of the stay.
