A branded guest app: what guests can do in your app

A branded guest app puts your venue in every guest's pocket, with search, one-tap Wi-Fi, offers, personalisation and informational notifications, all updated once in your CMS.

A guest app is where your welcome pack, map, events and offers live, in your own name and colours. It saves guests hunting through emails, leaflets and signs, and it saves you reprinting them. This page walks through what the Holidaymaker app does for a guest, whether they are on a holiday park, in a hotel or visiting an attraction.

Everything they need, in one place

Guests get a digital welcome pack and guidebook, maps, What’s On, a weather view, local routes and your FAQs. Your team manages it all in the CMS, so a change to a time is made once rather than reprinted on leaflets and signs.

Find anything with one search

Search looks across places, routes, events and FAQs at once, so a guest does not need to know where something lives. It needs iOS or Android app version 2026.9.1 or later.

Online in one tap

Where you offer Wi-Fi, guests can join with one tap or a QR code scan, using network details you manage centrally. It removes a very common reception question. See the Wi-Fi connect guide (iOS and Android 2026.1.1+).

Offers they choose to look at

The Offers service shows guests the deals for your own site, such as activities, dining or seasonal offers, with what is included and any terms. Changes you make centrally are picked up automatically. See how the Offers service works (2026.9.1+).

An app that learns what they like

The app can learn from what each guest views, likes and favourites, and show the most relevant places, routes, events and offers. Guests are asked first, and their preferences are stored on their own device. Read about recommendations and personalisation (2026.5.1+).

How it works

  1. Your team adds places, events, offers, routes and FAQs in the CMS.
  2. Guests download your branded native iOS and Android app, which has its own app store listing.
  3. Search, maps, offers and personalisation use that same content.
  4. Where your booking system is connected, guests can log in with their booking.
  5. The same content can also appear on Seeview screens and, through an Android TV app, on in-accommodation TVs.

Notifications are informational only for now, such as a welcome, opening hours, a weather notice or a goodbye. Offers sit in the app’s offers area, where guests choose to look.

What you need in place

Content worth showing: your places, events, offers and FAQs, kept up to date. Some newer features need a current app version on the guest’s phone, and the Help Centre states the version for each feature, so encourage guests to keep the app updated.
